STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible is God’s Word, and therefore it is what we use in determining what to believe as well as how to live.
Because it was inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
(2 Timothy 3:16; John 17:17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105, 160; Psalm 12:6; Proverbs 30:5)

We believe there is one God who is eternal and who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5-7; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Isaiah 44:6; Genesis 1:2, 26; Genesis 3:22; Psalm 90:2)

We believe that God created man as well as all other things in Heaven and in Earth.
(Colossians 1:15-17; Genesis 1:1-27; Ephesians 3:9; John 1:3; Psalm 8:3)

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is God, who became man through the birth of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, performing many miracles. He sacrificially died for us on the cross, taking the punishment for our sins, which allows us to be reconciled with God. He physically rose from the dead. He was then taken up to Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Father, and He will return in power and glory.
(Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:26-25; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 5:21; John 20:30-31; John 10:37-38; Romans 3:24-25; 1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; Romans 4:25; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)

We believe that all mankind is born with a sinful nature, which hinders us from a relationship with God. There are no works we can do in order to make ourselves right with God. We can only be made right with God through our faith in Jesus Christ. When we surrender our lives to Jesus, the Holy Spirit changes us so that we no longer have a sinful nature but are considered “new creatures in Christ.”
(Psalm 14:1-3; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10-12, 22-23; Isaiah 53:6; Isaiah 59:1-2)(Isaiah 64:6; Romans 4:1-6; Romans 3:28; Galatians 2:21; John 14:6; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 3:26; Romans 10:9-10)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is in every Christian and His power allows us to live a godly life.
(Romans 8:9-11; Ephesians 1:13; Titus 3:5; Philippians 1:6; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18)

We believe that all mankind will rise from the dead and will live forever. Those who have life through Jesus Christ will rise to spend eternity with God in Heaven, and those who rejected Jesus Christ in this life will rise to be damned forever in Hell.
(John 6:39; Romans 8:10-11; 2 Corinthians 4:14; Daniel 12:2; John 5:29; Revelation 20:13-15; 1 John 5:11-13)

We believe that all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ are united together through the Holy Spirit as a part of one spiritual church, with Jesus as the Head.
(1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 2:15-3:6; Acts 2:42, Ephesians 1:22-23)

FINAL AUTHORITY FOR MATTERS OF BELIEF AND CONDUCT
The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.

THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Palsm 139.13-18)
